Belkin Wireless Router, 20080802sa1620

While helping a client today, I discovered an interesting characteristic of a Belkin Wireless N Router. The router uses http://192.168.2.1 as the address to access the management software. On the router, a blue indicator light (labeled wireless) indicates when the wireless feature is being used. What's a little bit confusing about this, is that most routers have an indicator light that tells you if the wireless feature is enabled. If it is off, this means that the wireless feature is off. On the new Belkin Wireless N router, the wireless may or may not be enabled, but the blue light will indicate when someone has logged in or attached to the wireless network. So, an end user, may be thrown off by this -- thinking that the wireless feature isn't working.
